As you can see, things are looking a little different around here – as well as this gorgeous new site layout, we also have a new layout for our image gallery (check it out here!). Both of these wonderful layouts were created by the extremely talented Christine at pinkchaos.org- thank you so much!
(I have tried to get the layout up as quickly as possible but I am still working on a few parts so I apologise for any parts of the site that aren’t fully working yet!)
A brief note – if you are wanting to comment on any of our news entries just press on the number of comments at the bottom of this post and it will take you to the comments page and allow you to view the comments already made.

The Live Tour 2011 is beginning next week. Matt was on ITV’s This Morning and said that he would be dancing the Samba on tour. As of yet we do not know what his other dance will be but I am sure it will be fabulous!
If you are going to the tour and wish to donate some of your Matt and Aliona pictures (if you can get any!) to the site (with full credit of course!) then feel free to contact us and we will reply with instructions on the best way to send your photos in

We have been receiving lots of questions from you guys and whilst we have tried to respond to you all, there have been hundreds so we apologise if we have missed anyone! We are thinking of setting up a FAQ section on the site that we will keep updated regularly with all of your questions (especially if they have been asked by a few people). So keep an eye out for that.
We will also be starting to discuss our first fansite project in the coming weeks so also keep checking back for details on that.

Aliona and Matt will join Colin Jackson & Ola Jordan, Ricky Whittle & Natalie Lowe, Patsy Kensit & Robin Windsor, Pamela Stephenson & James Jordan, Tina O’Brien & Jared Murillo, Kara Tointon & Artem Chigvintsev and Jimi Mistry & Kristina Rihanoff as the Strictly Tour kicks off on the 14th January 2011
With over 1 MILLION tickets sold over the past three years, the hugely popular and successful UK arena tour returns in 2011 for the fourth consecutive year, opening at Trent FM Arena Nottingham on 14th January. The multi-million pound show will then visit some of the UK’s biggest entertainment venues, playing the Republic of Ireland for the first time with an exclusive four show run at The o2 Dublin.
Audiences will watch the celebrities and professional dancers competing live for the votes of the judges and as with previous years the audience will have the chance to have their say on who wins the coveted glitter ball trophy as their votes are added to the judges’ scores to select the winner at the end of each show.
Launching at the Nottingham Trent FM Arena on 14th January, the four-week dance spectacular will travel to Motorpoint Arena Sheffield, Wembley Arena, London’s O2, Liverpool’s Echo Arena, The O2 Dublin, The Odyssey in Belfast, The LG Arena at the NEC Birmingham, Manchester Evening News Arena and will finish its run at Glasgow’s SECC on 13th February. Tickets for all these shows are now on sale.

As you may have already seen, Matt Baker has been announced as the final celebrity to take part in the 2011 tour. He will join Colin Jackson, Patsy Kensit, Jimi Mistry, Tina O’Brien, Pamela Stevenson, Kara Tointon and Ricky Whittle.
As yet, the BBC have not announced which professionals will be partnering the celebs … but if Aliona’s tweets are anything to go by then I don’t think it will be too long until we are seeing her and Matt dancing live!
If you do not have tickets then listen up!
